Maria and Afonso were immediately placed by LFL in a hotel in Southport and, several weeks later, they moved to further emergency accommodation, brought about by lockdown.

During this time, Outreach Sefton worked very closely with the couple, providing them with several contacts to secure work after the lockdown.

Both have now successfully gained employment, and LFL are working with them to ensure they can get to and from work.
